Ingredients

  • 40 ml bourbon
  • 20 ml sake (junmai or honjozo works well)
  • 60 ml strong cold brew coffee (unsweetened)
  • 80 ml premium cherry cola (chilled, low fizz if possible)
  • Ice for mixing stage
  • Fresh mint for garnish
  • Ice for final serve (optional)

Instructions

Step 1: Mix the base
  • In a shaker with ice, combine bourbon, sake, and cold brew.
  • Stir gently for about 10 seconds to chill and slightly dilute.
  • Strain into your NitroPress DS canister.
  • Pour in the chilled cherry cola tilting the cannister to minimize fizz loss.
Step 2: Charge the NitroPress
  • Charge the NitroPress
Step 3: Shake it up
  • Shake the NitroPress for 5–10 seconds to activate the nitro infusion.
Step 4: Serve
  • Dispense into a tall chilled highball glass, letting the cascading effect settle.
  • Garnish with a lush mint sprig crown.
